Yamaha XMAX is equipped with a 250cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled Blue Core engine which has the greatest performance in its class. This machine is capable of producing a maximum power of 16.8 Kw/7000rpm and a maximum torque of 24.3 Nm/5500rpm. In addition, this motorbike also adopts one-piece forged crankshaft technology which has very good rigidity and is lighter so that the motorbike becomes more powerful.

To improve driving performance, the Traction Control System (TCS) feature is also embedded in the motorbike to minimize slippage on the rear tires when accelerating on a slippery road surface.
